Location: Orlando, FL

Summary of Position:

The Events Marketing Coordinator will assist the marketing team in the planning and implementation of all event related marketing activities. Working closely with the Events Marketing Manager and Sales Teams, the Events Marketing Coordinator will help develop and execute strategic, integrated campaigns for events designed to increase brand awareness, drive sales and generate new business leads.

Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with Events Marketing Manager on developing strategic approach to all events, identifying how to drive overall profitable growth for the company in key markets (inside and outside of Florida).
  • Work with internal creative team on development of e-communications, tradeshow booth signage, giveaways and collateral for each event.
  • Work with sales teams to understand needs of agents and insureds by market and provide recommendations on additional marketing opportunities.
  • Evaluate new marketing opportunities for events/sponsorships and provide recommendations to broader marketing and sales teams for consideration.
  • Coordinate booth registrations for tradeshows and shipment materials to event locations.
  • Maintain inventory sheets for collateral and giveaways.
  • Work with external vendors to produce event specific materials.
  • Coordinate and collect post-event evaluations.
  • Work with industry association contacts to ensure awareness at industry functions including sponsorships, exhibits and tradeshows.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years’ experience in either corporate or events marketing with focus on event execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Events Management or related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Proactively identify project risks and propose solutions.
  • Maintains a consistently high level of production and performance quality.
  • Maintains professional communication with internal/external partners and insurance agents.
  • Exceptional project management and time management skills, which includes the ability to prioritize project deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
