Summary of Position:

The Events Marketing Assistant will assist the Events Marketing Manager in the planning and implementation of all events related to marketing activities. The position will also support the Events Marketing Coordinator when relevant and designated by the Events Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Events Marketing Manager and working closely with Marketing, Sales, and Human Capital. The Events Marketing Assistant will help develop and execute strategic, integrated campaigns for events designed to grow relationships, educate employees, foster trust, boost employee morale, and overall improve company culture.

Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with Events Marketing Manager on developing a strategic approach to all internal company events.
  • Support the Events Marketing Manager and Events Marketing Coordinator.
  • Work with Events Team and Human Capital to understand the needs of our employees and provide recommendations to enhance internal company events that support our company culture.
  • Liaison between events team and employees for internal events.
  • Research for event planning.
  • Conduct site visits and final inspections of venues utilized for company events.
  • Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist in managing and reconciling internal event expenses.
  • Handing out promotional and educational materials during internal events.
  • Assist with gathering data during events.
  • Coordinate and collect all postā€event evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Human Capital on internal communications.
  • Proactively identify project risks and propose solutions.
  • Maintain inventory sheets for all marketing materials and collateral.
  • Package and ship marketing material to remote team members.
  • Work with external vendors to produce event-specific materials.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years experiences in either corporate or event marketing with a focus on event execution.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Management, Events Management, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Maintains a consistently high level of production and performance quality.
  • Maintains professional relationship with internal/external partners and insurance agents.
  • Exceptional project management and time management skills, which includes the ability to prioritize project deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be willing to travel up to 5% a year.
