Get to know our Staff Account, Cameron Bright, in this month’s Employee Spotlight.
Cameron started at Lighthouse Property Insurance Corporation on September 19th, 2012. Her main responsibility is to assist the Controller and Senior Staff Accountant. Most recently, she just completed working on Lighthouse’s yearly filing of Unclaimed Property.
Her favorite part about working here is “the opportunity to work in each department over the last five years. It’s allowed me to understand the importance each department plays in our company and how we can better assist each other to ultimately better Lighthouse!”
Here’s what Cameron had to say, when asked about herself:
Where did you grow up? I grew up in Jacksonville, FL and moved to Orlando, FL in 2012.
Tell us the three words that describe you best. Attentive, Hard-Working, and Dedicated
Do you have a motto or personal mantra? Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:6
What do you like to do outside of work? I love to go to Disney or Universal! If I am not there I am volunteering at my church with our Student Ministry.
What’s your favorite TV show and/or movie? I love all the NCIS shows!
What is your favorite sports team? Go Gators!
What’s your favorite food? Anything with chocolate or cheese.
What or who is your favorite band/singer/song? How Can It Be by Lauren Daigle
What’s your favorite vacation spot? Dream vacation would be to go to all the Disney Parks around the world!
What is your biggest pet peeve? Biggest pet peeve would probably be bad drivers.
Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know about you? I have donated over 100 inches of hair to be used to manufacture wigs.
What’s your proudest accomplishment (either work or personal)? My proudest work accomplishment would be my promotion to Staff Accountant.
