Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities
Conducts quantitative analysis to identify key value drivers and quickly translate date in order to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
Collaborates with executive management to determine the market development strategy, industry and territory level sales priorities and area of focus within the industry distribution channels. Works with appropriate solution leaders to tailor offerings to the unique needs of the industry. Drives and implements strategy to enhance the client experience.
Supports the sales force in converting agents to partners by directing the results of account managers. Provides staff direction with and understanding and following of the established company policies and procedures. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including recommending salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets. Evaluates and provides coaching on daily activities only as needed, such as unlet results.
Oversee branding efforts including but not limited to: general marketing support, social media outlets, SEO, website, print collateral, etc.
Creates collaborative, productive partnerships with key stakeholders such as management, underwriting, claims, agents, operations, marketing, vendors and other key functions to develop strategies that will achieve overall company goals.
Identifies partnering opportunities to broaden customer reach. Acts as capture manager on key industry pursuits to enhance company position and gain new business.
Establishes and communicates goals and objectives, defines methodologies, tasks and activities, and clearly describes roles and responsibilities for performing to personnel. Communicates broadly to help ensure overall coordination for cross-functional teams.
Directs day-to-day administrative responsibilities including but not limited to matters related to staff recruitment, annual budgeting, and vendor/ supplier management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a minimum of ten or more years of related industry experience
Advanced business acumen including excellent analytical, quantitative, math and problem-solving skills
Excellent communications skills are essential, effective face-to-face interactions and presentations to groups as well as sound written communications. Including impeccable follow-through
Excels at working with contract interpretation, negotiations and project management
Passion for driving actions and achieving results, with a competitive spirit and orientation towards personal excellence
Strong leadership skills with a commitment to customers and focus on client engagement and the customer experience
